About Advanced Reliability Training
Maintaining assets is all about managing the risk of equipment failure and its resulting impact on business performance. Reliability is imperative for companies to deliver optimum levels of customer service. This course delves into more detail of modelling the Reliability of complex systems to predict the risks associated with them, it also covers some of the most used Condition Monitoring technologies in more depth showing how they can be used to predict failures before they happen. The course looks at using different, more in depth, methodologies of investigating failures when they do occur.
On successful completion delegates will understand:
· How to determine the Reliability of complex systems
· The use and usefulness of some of the common Condition Monitoring technologies
· How to use more in-depth problem-solving tools to conduct Root Cause Analysis of failures
This pilot session is being offered at a significantly reduced rate. In return, delegates will be asked to provide detailed feedback to help us refine the course ahead of its formal launch and accreditation. Upon successful accreditation, retrospective City & Guilds certification may be provided to attendees who complete the end-of-course assessment.
Is it right for me?
This workshop is designed for delegates who have responsibility for taking care of assets and managing plant equipment. This includes engineering managers, operations/production managers, operations and engineering team leaders, technicians and reliability engineers. It aims to build on the knowledge of previous courses and dive deeper into some of the techniques and technologies in the Reliability armoury.
What will I learn?
The course will focus on:
• What Reliability is
• How to measure the Reliability of complex systems
• Design for Reliability
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Reliability and Maintenance
• Condition Assessments
• Life Cycle Costing (LCC)
• The concepts of 5S and its benefits
• Advanced problem-solving Tools and Techniques
• The concepts of 5S and its benefits
• Advanced problem-solving Tools and Techniques
The benefits?
Following this workshop, delegates will be armed with some of the tools which enable them to lead activities that predict and improve equipment reliability in a structured manner.
Having reliable equipment leads to lower operating costs and the ability to deliver quality products on time. Reliability also correlates directly with Safety; improving Reliability goes hand in hand with improving Safety for all organisations.
